Who are we

SanAquam Spa Retreat Drakensberg Mountains is owned by Afriquest Leisure Developments (Pty) Ltd with a focus on medical, spa, leisure and development. It purchased the 723 hectare property in Drakensberg in 2005 after many years of research with regard to the medical, spa and leisure and property industry. After a long development process, it obtained development rights late in 2007 to develop the Spa Retreat.

Our unique combination of expertise combined with a Ayurveda , a 5000 year old life science enables us to offer you an opportunity to rediscover something truly amazing – yourself.

Our approach also incorporates organic architecture, a contemporary style and approach together with being one with nature and the environment. We have partnered with a prominent Ayurvedic Group in Kerala and our doctors and therapists are specifically trained to treat imbalance and a range of diseases.
